Jason plays guitar. He has played guitar since he was 13 yrs. old. If you know
how old he is, you can figure out how many years he’s been playing. Jason also
has played violin and contra-bass. In fact, he went to a performing arts high
school in central Florida to study classical guitar. Here’s a homework assignment
– what performing arts school did Jason Bove attend? Toward the later years of high school, Jason was in 3 bands. Here’s the name
of two – Mr. Fate and Dr. Mondo. Can you guess what the 3rd
band was called? Mr. Fate was a rock band and Dr. Mondo was an
alternative band – ah the early 90’s. The 3rd band was a metal band
– NOT A HAIR METAL band. In fact, Jason had relatively short hair in those years.
Anyway, in that 3rd band, Jason was the lead guitar player. Off to college Jason went, any wagers on what he studied? If you said music
– you were dead wrong. He actually studied Finance at Florida State University
– why you may ask. Well, he’s still not sure about that – but his therapist
tells him that with another couple of years of therapy we might have an answer.
During those 5 years of college, Jason lost most interest in performing music.
Jason finally graduated from college and moved to the city of Orlando. Here
he expected to start building a career in the business world. After about 2
years of corporate life, he began thinking about music again. Jason decided to start his own band and began assembling what you now know
and love as bobblehead.
